Sustainability at Curver

Curver is a world-wide manufacturer of consumer products for the home and garden. In 2020, Curver pledged to become a world-leader in sustainability. As part of this initiative, the company developed a range of eco-friendly products such as food keepers and waste bins. In order to better align with its new set of environmentally-friendly values, the brand also wanted to change its communication assets.

New planet-friendly visual language for Curver, a strong established brand. The challenge was to incorporate this new set of values onto its existing powerful identity. A new color scheme, nature visuals, and earth tones were introduced to successfully merge Curver’s new and old identities into one.
Along with packaging design, I created assets aimed for a range of platforms, such as Amazon, social media, and Curver’s website.
Along the food keepers line, Curver designed a new line of sustainable products for waste separation (WSL). While keeping the core design guidelines (typography, hierarchy, layout), we slightly modified specific elements such as the color palette, the stamp, the imagery. This way, we were able to maintain WSL within Curver's sustainability category while slightly differentiate each line of products.
